A website is an online collection of webpages that are stored on a web server and can be viewed using a client application, such as a web browser.

Websites are a common source of information for consumers and businesses, including information on hotels, restaurants, airlines, banks, technology companies, and government agencies.

A website typically contains a home page, one or more subpages, and links to other pages and sites. A website may consist of static HTML pages (text pages) or dynamically generated pages

Every website has an URL (Uniform Resource Locator). Every URL is unique, in that it points to a specific location on the Internet.
